Pros

Brand Recognition Good Training Nice work atmosphere Nice Place to start and learn the business (2.5 yrs)

Cons

You can sell more but because of fees you make less and less every year- aprox $270 a week to work Even though you have a general agency everything is based on Metlife core products, your grid drops and you lose your benefits if you dont sell metlife... which metlife not always in best interest of client..managers push you to sell core products. Compensation is very heavily weighted on insurance products

Pros

Growing company; Good place to start for young graduates or for someone wanted to further their education; Work & Life balance environment is good for young mother.

Cons

Lack of talent retention initiative in place; Work Performance Assessments; Training is limited for employees with specialized skills. Company's values are not consistently translating from top to bottom ( the message seem to get diluted when it gets to some VPs, and most of AVPs and Directors); Compensation is not competitive.
