Pros

Good pay Low impact, mainly answering emails

Cons

•Very little training. Up to you to go to training calls that tend to get scheduled during a time you might have a meeting. •how well you do your job depends on who you know. Trying to figure things out yourself is hard because there isn’t a standard way to handle most responsibilities and the resource data base is messy and out dated •Expect to be asked to work outside of your hours to fulfill a client request (you don’t get overtime for it)

Pros

I really find very difficult to promote this company.

Cons

This company focus is on Ageism within the company. They target senior age group when layoffs. DEI target employees are promoted into position the older employee's held.

Pros

Great training opportunities, gorgeous campus, awesome co-workers. Good benefits, although they’re pretty comparable to what you’d get anywhere else.

Cons

They constantly talk about how much they value diversity, yet I am someone who struggles with a (new) disability and when this disability occurred (I’m purposely being vague so as not to reveal too much) their disability department made my life a living hell. About two weeks into my month-long hospital stay I got a call telling me my short-term disability claim had been approved, so I didn’t worry about it any longer. So, when about 5 weeks later I got a call saying my disability claim had been denied because my doctor had failed to send them the paper work they had requested (even though I had watched him place it in the fax machine) I was stunned. What followed was months of back and forth, with them requesting more and more paperwork, but nothing was enough for them to approve the claim. I even gave them paperwork showing I had been in the hospital the whole time. THEN they said in order for me to be able to return to work I needed a doctor’s note. So, my doctor wrote a note saying I was fit to return to work now that my stay at the hospital had addressed everything successfully. The disability claim manager called me to say my claim had been denied and closed because, according to my doctor’s most recent letter, I was fit to work. I pointed out that obviously it would have said that because it was written after I had been temporarily disabled for the two months and ready to return for work. She simply repeated that the case was denied and that I had to wait for my denial letter to appeal my case I still haven’t gotten this letter. Every time I call to ask about it, I get the same line - it’s is on the way and when it comes I can appeal it. Because of all of this, I went two months without a paycheck and had to move in with my parents and take out a loan from my 401k to cover childcare. It was a complete and utter mess.
