      2 week company break around the New Year

      Cons

      Complete lack of culture, incredibly far behind in terms of technology, pays less than competitors for similar roles, management does not support growth unless that growth is within your direct department. Healthcare coverage is horrendous.

      Pros

      Merck provides great resources for their employees and I believe they genuinely try their best to provide a great atmosphere.

      Cons

      Sometimes the bureaucracy and the division between salary employees and union employees can lead to depression and anxiety. As a union employee, sometimes, I feel a HUGE lack of inclusion. It almost feels like we exist in the shadows of Merck. There is a HUGE Lack of growth opportunities. Once you're in, you're most likely staying in that same spot so Apply high and hope for the best.

      Positive future outlook - want to do good for communities - senior leadership efforts to lead subordinates

      Cons

      Cliques - Senior leadership unaware of hostile environment - training deficiencies - bad leaders - poor inter department collaboration - if you do not get in with the right people , you will not be there long.
