The team dynamic should be a standard all companies strive for, and it's fostered by great management. Open communication and pathways to assist in process development and workflow.

Cons

Dynamic workload. This role is more than just payment processing and works in several spaces intimately. The pay isn't bad, but it should definitely be higher considering what this role does far exceeds just payments. It is also very difficult to get promoted or bridge training into other roles that would equal higher salary.
