      Nice co workers. Nice canteen and location is good.

      I was unfortunate to report to a manager that had no management experience and didn't handle pressure very well. She had no management training and wasnt fit for purpose. Only wanted to communicate by email. No work from home policy but management seem to have their own "case by case" policy ie the work from home when it suits them but are distrusting of anyone else working from home. It was a great experience for me in that I know where I don't want to be and I would put it up there as the worst company I have ever worked for in my long career. I can see how there is such a high attrition rate. Merck needs to move with the times, trust their people. Positive affirmation works. Its not rocket science. Culture comes from the top down.

      I appreciate the global culture of Merck , lot of opportunities for technically skilled managers The staff is young and vibrant in Bengaluru IT Center, highly skilled and tech savvy. Diverse culture and workforce The Merck IT center in Bangalore is the best in class facility. This ergonomics standard helps the team to be agile and helps to have better interaction with the colleagues.

      IT office is only in Bengaluru, India , Merck IT should have more offices in India
