Pros

You learn something new every day. Consultants and analysts are in the same area to allow for easy interacting amongst the employees.

Cons

-Senior consultants and analysts are too separated. Seems to be a disconnect between the two in terms of leadership, compensation, and communication.

Pros

Analysts are salaried non-exempt, which means they get paid overtime. This is unique amongst entry-level positions at financial institutions. We also have a great dental plan that pays 50% of ortho.

Cons

The people who work here are boring. They are the kind of people who sit around and watch TV on the weekends, then have nothing to talk about on Monday. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you are an interesting person with an exciting life, then Mercer is not the place for you. Also, employees are not provided with public transportation passes, which is a major expense in the majority of cities.
