Pros
Work with extremely smart people. Ability to learn a lot and take on responsibility if you seek it out. Interesting work and access to meet with top tier investment professionals due to Mercer's size and client base. Ability to work remotely. PTO, personal days, 401k and other benefits were good. Interesting work depending on your team and role.
Cons
Underpaid versus other firms in the industry. Promotions feel like they are based on time spent in role versus actual impact and work done for the Firm. Stretched thin depending on your team. The organization is very top heavy with managers. Very unorganized integrating and setting a direction for the private markets team.
