Pros

Compensation is above average. High performance is rewarded. Projects are generally diverse and interesting.

Cons

A subgroup of senior staff ganged up to bully, gaslight, and spread false rumors about me. It was an extremely abusive workplace, where 12 hour workdays all week were apparently not enough to be considered a hard worker. There was no way for me to report my treatment to a higher power, and those that I did confide in did not believe me. The cultural rot seems to go all the way to the Partner level. Either that, or they gladly turn a blind eye as long as the perpetrators of abuse keep the money coming in. Leaving this company was the best thing I ever did.

Pros

Excellent individual consultants and great resources for clients

Cons

Terrible middle management across the company. Too many inexperienced managers (often former actuaries) running the company who lack people skills, formal management training, and basic empathy.

Pros

You will work with some amazing people.

Cons

- Micro management - Favouritism - Lack of support - Damaging to mental health - Denial about the bullying culture. - HR make it impossible for you to even formally complain about bullying, they will tell you to confront the bully or just read the bullying policy, which funnily enough lists micro management as bullying, but it’s how 95% of the managers management style. - If you ever try and raise bullying with management or HR, you will be labelled as a trouble maker, hard to manage and have an attitude problem. - if you use the whistleblower line, they will ask you how you found out about it
