Pros

Flexibility, ability to work from home, lots of opportunities to learn, great benefits, competitive salary

Cons

Leadership/senior consultants in the market offices are not as open to employee flexibility/work life balance and are not following the "All Roles can Flex" message being shared by corporate leadership. Full time employees with reduced hours are never considered for promotion. Heavy work load - expected to put in 50+ hours consistently, no true mentoring of employees, competitive environment in which employees don't support one another - not unusual to be "thrown under the bus".

Pros

- Great flexibility with work from home and time off - Outside Boston, so if you live in Boston, driving out of the city in the morning is not too bad - Big company, so there are plenty of opportunities available for lateral movement. - Helped me develop my client facing communication skills and my SQL abilities

Cons

- Lots of time entry systems to use - Colleagues do not seem to learn, always ask questions they should already know answers to - Big company, so it is easy to get lost among everyone - Extremely difficult to get an adequate raise or promotion, I applied for a promotion and received zero response after 6 months. I was told that I needed to wait as there was a waitlist for the promotion, which makes no sense because the team I was on was depleted and the position was posted online, so it had to be available. - The enjoyment of your experience here will largely dependent upon the team you are on. I liked my team initially, then the good people left and got replaced with less competent people, and I was asked to help assist more clients, on the same pay and work hours.
