Pros
I met a decently diverse group of young, motivated women whose friendship and work ethic I value. I did grow professionally in terms of my customer service and ability to lead. Good resume asset.
Cons
The training here is dismal and the company is expanding its reach in retail too quickly which causes it to pivot as they are constantly modifying their vision. Upper management is incompetent, immature, and hard to get a hold of. They make claims about professional growth but only hire externally and I've seen many great employees lose huge opportunities for career growth because of that when they are more than capable of those roles. Bonus structure is non existent and there is no commission either even though they constantly push selling and clienteling at stylists without any incentive. Part time employees get no benefits but are constantly scheduled 30 hours a week and pulling full time weight just so Mejuri does not need to invest more in their staff.
