Don't Waste Your Time!

Pros

Location is near my house. The commission is great if you're linked into the ole' boy network!

Cons

Just about everything. Someone get me outta here! This old world manner of running a business just doesn't work anymore. It's antiquated, they look over your shoulder at every moment and most people here are just...miserable. Most departments are a joke. Human resources and marketing have no imagination and the HR folks are just plain nasty-acting. The non-technology is so old and seldom works. Getting reimbursed for expenses after spending your own money to work in other states (and sometimes other countries takes 60+ days!) Who can afford that? Putting lipstick on a pig doesn't change it - it is still a boar and a bore!

Pros

Health Insurance is great. Salary is higher than most companies.

Cons

A lot of the EGA’s are abusive to the field adjusters and no action is taken since they bring the business in. Lack of support from HR and upper management to get a handle on these EGA’s. No consideration for work life balance. New computer system implemented and no one knows how to use it because the training was terrible but it is required that it be used.

There are many many great people at McLarens but also many others that ruin things for everyone.

Cons

Some people are nice and hard working. Others are micro-managers, pessimistic, constantly negative and worse. You are belittled if you don't work 60+ hour weeks. ZERO work-life balance.
