      Some nice people to work with

      Cons

      Because most people there have worked there for an extended amount of time, there is not a lot of progress for working efficiently. It is difficult to get people to take ownership or change "how it has always been done". Culture is too family owned. It needs to evolve into a corporate one.

      Pros

      Hard to find any these days...used to be a good privately held family company. Pay is decent but not worth what you will go through there.

      Cons

      Corporate HR unprofessional and lack integrity. Poor leadership at the top of the organization as well. Strategy constantly changing as well as organizational structure. In major cost cutting mode. Safety and quality have been de-emphasized.

      Pros

      McCain is in a position to be a very profitable company and has a bright future with the right leadership. McCain is willing and able to compensate people for what they are worth.

      Cons

      The organization as a whole sits and waits on direction from corporate on even very simple things. The culture is very political and requires that you kiss the right ring in order to advance. If you are a person that enjoys making data driven decisions this isn't the place for you.
