Cons
During my tenure, I experienced a noticeable deterioration in the work culture within the Digital Technology (IT) group. The increasing demands of global collaboration led to recurring early morning meetings (often between 6–8 AM EST) and late evening calls to accommodate multiple time zones. This resulted in extended workdays and frequent 60+ hour weeks, leaving little room for work-life balance. Additionally, limited resources, lack of adequate support, and ongoing organizational shifts contributed to high stress levels and burnout across teams. Many talented and dedicated employees were left feeling overextended and underappreciated.
