Pros

Good salary package. Outstanding benefits package, for whole family fully paid by the company. Challenging work. Good opportunities to engage in important tasks. Good job is recognized. Easy to get in touch with people many levels above you. People treat you with decency and respect, no matter you age, gender, race, religion, etc. Full Time Employees are at the heart of the company. During the pandemic they did all they could to help with our wellbeing, from health seminars and yoga classes, to extra benefits, great flexibility for those working from home with kids around, managers are very supportive, some extra different kinds of day off for parents or related to Covid-19. Global company, opportunities to work with people from all around the globe.

Cons

Some processes are too bureaucratic and may require too much time to get it approved (like getting a software approved for use). It takes weeks to get accesses you need (I fully understand why they manage so close accesses, for security and compliance purposes, but after everything is approved it still takes too much time to get it done). Some IT Teams are separated from the Programs, and there are too many of those (almost one for each tool), so sometimes you will find yourself requesting help from some team and hearing a few days later it's not their responsibility and you have to try another group, so you may lose days just to find who can do it. DevOps team thinks everyone knows DevOps, so their responses are short and lack information, they are helpful when they need to do something, but when you expect information from them you may get none, they should understand other IT professionals have other skills and don't know to work with their softwares and tools. As an enterprise company you can expect that some things may take a long time to happen, like moving to newer technologies (of course, big company, too many things already made and working fine, a lot of integrations, of lot of things involved)
