There are a lot of smart people there so there’s always a solution. When there were more people around working there was good-till we got short staffed and it became hell

The pay for the amount of work done is not enough They like to stall with promotions. Not fair Too much work

- Good team support structure - always a variety of activities so it retains engagement - office space and location is nice with free parking for those who wish to work in the office

Cons

- the pay could be better, I have been at Maru for 5 years now and whilst I've worked my way up from my starting salary of 17.5 k I must say the company is behind others in it's pay increases. For example I have peers in other companies/industries who started on salaries around 25k 5 years ago so you can imagine they are well into the 30k + mark now. Overall I think this is an industry not company issue but for sure an increase would be nice. - Bonuses also need to be re-introduced, these used to be yearly depending on company performance and whilst the company has continued to perform well we haven't seen a bonus for about 3-4 years so I'm not sure what's happened here. - no flexible working - set times 9-5 only (mon-fri)
