Pros
Maru Group has a group of specialty practices that should, in theory, allow it to offer maximum value to clients. They are a panel company, a technology/platform provider, and have a robust suite of research tools in their offering.
Cons
The various practice areas are very siloed within the company and are often pitted against one another to compete for business revenue. This leads to an adversarial working environment instead of a collegial one. There's also a lack of client management so that scope creep is more of the rule than the exception, which leads to team members feeling burned out and unsupported by senior leadership.
