      Pros

      Kind and dedicated staff to the mission. Benefits and compensation is good compared to other DC non-profits. No micro-management at the Director and C-Executive levels.

      Cons

      Very fast-paced environment - like a start-up org. Limited career growth opportunities in some programs/departments. Inexperienced managers/supervisors at all levels - mid to executive levels.

      The community of individuals you work with is great. There are some individuals in leadership who are helpful and want to see you succeed.

      Cons

      Favoritism in different departments. Lack of leadership compassion. The location is unsafe, with minimal security. HR is incompetent and nonexistent in supporting staff. Many leaders are not held accountable and the staff takes the brunt of the work to be done.
