      Pros

      Kind and dedicated staff to the mission. Benefits and compensation is good compared to other DC non-profits. No micro-management at the Director and C-Executive levels.

      Cons

      Very fast-paced environment - like a start-up org. Limited career growth opportunities in some programs/departments. Inexperienced managers/supervisors at all levels - mid to executive levels.

      Everyone has a great connection to the community they serve.

      Cons

      At that time there was some changes to the leadership and the company ops. This effected the org but do think things have change seen then.

      1. Important mission 2. Dedicated staff- some of the smartest people I’ve ever worked with 3. Commitment to dignified service and empowering community members

      Cons

      1. Culture of chaos that results in constant turnover, exhausted and disgruntled staff 2. There is no autonomy in your work- at every level you are micromanaged dis-empowered 3. There is no respect for personal lives- you’re expected to work long hours, answer emails and calls after hours and on weekends, etc.
