Pros

I met a few nice people and enjoyed getting to know them when I could.

Cons

The store managers have no business being managers. There is no training, no communication between management and staff. Some employees are so rude to other employees that the customers see this and comment on it right in front of you. Managers stand around with their staff and talk about how lazy and awful their staff is. Managers and coordinators talk about how employees are doing things they shouldn't and making mistakes to other employees, but never speak to the people actually making the mistakes. I could go on and on about cons to this job. The pay is way to low to put up with this type of treatment.

Pros

I worked here as a second job and they were very flexible with my hours, all employees are given a specific job and everyone follows their roles in the store, most other employees are willing to help, 45 minute lunches with is rare in retail, we do get a paycheck every week.

Cons

Managers are very inconstant and some are just weak as managers. One manager will back you up when there is a customer issue and others will literally tell a customer the policy and walk away and leave you to deal with an angry customer. I notice that the coordinators do ALOT/ most of the management duties and they are always on the floor, when most of the time a manager is no where to be found. Some employees are very rude and not friendly and being in customer service if you don't have any type of passion for your work it shows. There is not any formal training class or a trainer that teaches new hires proper protocol , one person will tell you one thing, another person tells you another. My first day was on a Saturday and the manager just kept pushing me off to other employees and frustrated is an understatement. I've witnessed employees and mangers argue openly on the sales floor which is very inappropriate.
