      Pros

      Great Place to get experience in work world if interested in a career in financial services that doesn't require over 50 hours a week. Great People and usually top flight clients.

      Cons

      Company was hit hard by Spitzer suit and only really began to recover in 2008. Very limited up side potential. Don't work here if money is your top priority.

      Pros

      Strong company with lots of growth opportunity where top management always support the strategic thinking and excellence in execution. Always focused on doing the best in the market making all employees very proud of its performance

      Cons

      Company grew very fast due to several acquisition as well and there is a need to create a unique culture among emplyees.

      Pros

      Despite everything, there are still some really great people to work with left in the company. Work/life balance is good, vacation times and so on are adequate. Recent management seems more disciplined than in the past.

      Cons

      No long-term strategy for anything - management by slogans. Top-level management is on up to par with what you would expect in a major corporation. Stagnation was an option before the Spitzer lawsuite - it is no longer, but management doesn't know how to do anything else.
