Pros

Possibilities are endless with the pay rate. It is also a life learning experience being able to communicate with guests all around the country. It always put a smile on my face when the customer was so excited to go on the vacation package I would book for them.

Cons

The only challenge is that is can get discouraging not being able to sell as much as others, but staying positive always kept me through the day!

Pros

Full-time entry level positions are provided with benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance options, paid vacation and sick time as well as access to 401k options and to the company's credit union. The company very often conveys to the employee base the company's motto "If you take care of your associates, they'll take care of the guests." And in a various ways the company shows this other than just health benefits. There is also holiday pay and employee outings annually where the company promotes employee and management bonding. Last but not least the company prides itself on feedback as not only guest have a chance to deliver feedback to the company. Each year employees are tasked with reviewing employment, work, management practices, and coworker behavior.

Cons

As progressive as a company in Florida can be and as much as they pride themselves on the motto of :If you take care of your associates, they'll take care of the guest" the company does fall flat in the benefits area where it does matter the most. The company does not paid entry level employment, full-time or otherwise, a living wage. Employees can receive up to a 30 cent raise annually based on an employment review given on an annual basis on the date the employee was hired. After 6 years, the company ceases to raise wages altogether annually. The company also lacks integration between departments caused by a lack of innovation in guest services. Bottom line, If your goals are not in line with wanting to work in the hospitality industry and rise through the ranks. This will not be the company for you.
