      Good pay/benefits, but don't go here for learning/development/advancement

      Compensation (good pay, benefits, time off) Discounted hotels.

      Cons

      Good ole boys corporate culture and resulting structure. Compensation (leaving you in golden handcuffs/hard to make a move). Lack of learning and advancement opportunities. Very siloed professional development, generating a very specialized skill-set unique to the corporate Marriott systems (ie. Very little translatable skills. Value increases within company, but not in the overall job market, which makes it very tough to find another job when your time comes).

      Pros

      Good Tips, other workers were very diverse and friendly, never a dull moment at work. If you like staying active and are an early bird, this was a great job to be at. I was out of work when everyone else was coming back from lunch. I loved it.

      Cons

      Little down time and few time for breaks. This is not the place to work if you're looking to hang out at work.
