Pros
They offered (forced) overtime which was good for some staff.
Cons
Overall this was not a good company to work for. As another review correctly mentioned, they bring you in through an agency on a temp to perm contract, and it can take up to 6 months to get this. From there, you then go through another probationary period of 6 months, so this totals 12 months before you are even guaranteed job security and progression. Saying that, there is no opportunity for progression here when joining as a Customer Service Associate, as the senior management are negligent, lazy, and incompetent. They do not care about helping talented staff members get ahead. You will be expected to work overtime everyday, and when I asked what my shift times were to my manager he could not give me a response. He said I should work it out with the other associate working in my team but the hours could go over every day. Very poor organisational skills. I was overworked with 0 training, and no formal guidance from any senior staff. If I had a question, I had to hassle the person next to me in the hopes that they were free to help. As a result, this created a very uncomfortable environment. The workload was immense. We were expected to handle inbound calls, process 100s of labels a day, as well as keep on top of the inbox which was bursting with complaints due to couriers arriving late and missing collections. This did not give me time to carry out tasks to a decent standard. This organisation is a mess and would benefit from better management, a strong HR department, and a massive dose of genuine care and respect.
