Pros

-Competitive Pay -My particular position allowed for some decent hours (Worked in the sales office) -Holiday pay (birthday included) but this is only certain hours on certain holidays - July 4th is not considered a holiday -Yearly review in June (if you're on good standings then you might be looking at over a 2.8% raise) - Effective if you were hired before May -Free fountain drinks - 1/2 off everything including specials, bowling shoes, non packaged items in the cafe at non-peak times - video game play cards (time cards that are not good for points) -Situations addressed were fixed in time, but sometimes took several weeks to be fixed or take effect.

Cons

-Open 365 days a year -Archaic rules (No unnatural hair color, no more than a certain number of piercings on your ear, having large earrings, no visible tattoos) -Growing pains -At first sales manager micro-managed -Party hosts, games attendants, bowl attendants, greeters, are typically high school age - expect some high school drama and random rumors -Unclear as far as career growth goes. If you want to move up or get a raise you will have to fight for it and work through the managers to get it. - expect it to be a slow process -Little movement for growth at the center itself unless someone quits or gets fired -Sales manager at one point was inattentive to what she was scheduling me and on several occasions posted schedules with less than a week out (she wouldn't post until Monday sometimes and I had no clue if I was coming in on Thursday because weeks were Tuesday to Wed) [this situation was remedied finally after a couple months of this]

Pros

-Discounts on bowling, laser tag, and food. - The only place that I have ever worked that allowed non-servers to collect tips.

Cons

-Poor, hateful management - only discounts on certain food - If you are an employee and come with family and friends to have fun they will treat you differently than a guest. For instance, one time the kitchen messed up an order. They would not "waste" time fixing it because as an employee, he was "low priority" even though he and his friends were paying. -Managers are required to do many actions on a register like a refund, employee discount, etc. However, are never around to help. - When they are around, many are very hateful and not helpful. -employees not treated fairly. There is favoritism. i.e one manager would make some employee meals completely free while the rest of us got 50% off (if we were allowed a break) - I was almost never given a break no matter if I worked 4, 6, 8, or 9 hours. - One day when I asked for a break, I was told, "you can go on one when we slow down." After it got slow, then I was told, "You can't take a break now. You need to stock and prepare for the next rush." I went an eight-hour shift that day with no break, and that was not the only time. When school started they drastically cut all hours, making employees extremely competitive and "backstabby" towards each other in order to earn extra hours by impressing managers. - They will tell you that you are scheduled for 11 or 12, but do not expect to leave until 2 or 3 on some nights. - Employees are NOT allowed to bring in outside food for their break. However, it takes managers an extremely long time to come to La Bellas in order to give an employee discount.
