      Great people, poor management

      Pros

      The science, the coworkers, the community are all stellar.

      Cons

      Managers that enforce unrealistic goals that go beyond work life balance with less than professional work interactions. Brilliant scientists, but often times poor leaders/managers and sour personalities.

      Pros

      Flexible hours allow for lots of time off, friendly coworkers, good work environment. Great team work without direct supervision from higher-ups. Lot's of room to breathe.

      Cons

      Supervisors give little to no help in moving forward or progression within the company, and can be quite dismissive upon discussion of future at the lab. Superiors are hard to contact, difficult to talk to and typically too busy or out of the office all together. Mindless, tedious work with hardly any deviation.
