Pros

- Lots of professional development support/resources for postdocs - Good number of social/networking events - Many recruiting events, you will definitely get a good job after a postdoc at MIT - Good 401k

Cons

- Salary is not good for the area and for the institution's caliber - Health insurance is expensive - Your specific experience will heavily depend on the lab you're in, so it can range from very good to very bad
