      Pros

      Technology and helping patients. Some benefits.

      Cons

      Please note all of the positive reviews of this company are from employees at home office in Austria. The ‘leadership’ team doesn’t care about employees they care about themselves. HR department creates/ causes more drama than anyone. Can’t think of a single person other than senior management that’s happy at Med-el.

      Pros

      Great technology and nice to be reminded that you're helping people if you're in a customer facing role.

      Cons

      No sense of team. Clear separation between executive leadership and other staff. No transparency and poor communication across departments. Unrealistic expectations set by executive leadership and no resource allocation to complete assignments. Employees are pigeonholed and management doesn't encourage internal staff to grow professionally. Extremely toxic culture.

      Pros

      Great product and technology. Being able to work in an environment where you're helping others is extremely rewarding. Company provides excellent health benefits for employee.

      Cons

      Extremely toxic work culture. Limited ability for growth. Company is not open to suggestions. Not family friendly. Everyone is replaceable and they make sure you realize this.
