      Shipping Giant hence working here improves face value of your CV. Systems driven organization hence maximum exposure to systems

      Cons

      at the time of job cuttings, maximum jobs are lost at lower level hence constant insecurity in minds of middle and lower level employees. Indifference towards employees, human factor not taken care or considered carefully. they teach Maersk way of handling shipping operations and hence people after leaving Maerskline find it difficult to adjust to any other company with similar operations

      One gets a great multi-cultural experience as its one of the global companies that encourages interaction with other segments in the planet.

      Cons

      The chances of moving up the management levels are very lil' and the formulas for moving up are biased.

      Pros

      Work culture, employee respect and opportunities for development are plenty. If you are redy to work hard, take the required risks and challnges, open to travel then this compny provides enormous opportunities

      Cons

      There have been some knee jerk reactions in past 4 years or so. Direction changes with change in senior management and this is happening too often.
