Pros

Work pressure is not that much. Breaks are not a big concern.

Cons

Company policies are worst I've ever seen in my whole tenure. 1) Induction lasts for 3 and a half days and ridiculously boring and unplanned. People come, give powerpoint presentations and leave with no over view of what session is going to take place next and they dont have a coffee break concept. Step out if you feel like after waiting ridiculously for whole day for someone to give you a break officially and when you come back next session has already started. 2) Transport facility is the worst in the world. They do not provide door to door pick and drop for any employee, not even in night shifts. No security guard if first pick/last drop is a female employee. Very rigid at changing things. They don't mind make you walk for 2 km to board company's vehicle no matter what time on earth it is and no matter what area you live in(even if it is not a remote area). First company I've ever seen which provides BUSES and not CABS in night and early morning shifts to save money. 3) Cafeteria is not even worth mentioning. You have to be in queue every time, if you want breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner, be ready to expect long queues sometimes zigzag queues. Cafeteria is too small and congested. Quantities are limited and you have to pay if you want to fill your plate again. 4) There is only 1 coffee vending machine per floor and pantries are awfully small. If 4 people stand inside, you will die of suffocation. Only coffee comes out of vending machine. If you happen to press the buttons next to tomato soup or lemon tea or cardamom tea, all you'll get is warm water. Even coffee is awfully sweet. 5) Tea/Coffee is not allowed at workstations. Simply unbelievable. 6) All the employees are in probation period for first 5 months and during those 5 months you are like a slave for the company because your leave balance shall remain 0 and you will not be allowed to take leaves, not even sick leave, yes that's right. If you fall sick, they make sure you compensate by working on weekends or just be ready to pay from your salary. 7) This company does not have a concept of calendar holidays. All the processes work 365 days. They have a concept of 9 paid offs that you can take anytime during entire year but your TL/manager will make sure you can't take those leaves during your probation period at any cost. 8) If you take sick leaves after 5 months they will get deducted from your PL leave balance. They do not have separate quota for sick leaves unlike other companies. 9) All the GSCs(Global Service Centers) have a policy that only 1 system is allowed per person so you won't get a system of your own. You will have to share the system with 2 other people and that is precisely why they have an 8 hours shift window because 8*3=24. But to make sure you can't make merry by getting relieved in 8 hours, you have to work 12 working days extra annually, meaning 1 extra working day every month with no compensatory off for that and that is a rule for everyone. 10) No cubicles. Sit like people in call centers do where everyone can see everyone. Forget cubicles, even managers do not have a cabin of their own. Only people at really very high positions like centre head or something have cabins. 11) No meeting rooms. 1-2 meeting rooms exist which are locked and only open at the time of client visits. People have their daily/weekly review meetings at their workstations by forming a group. I felt so disgusted when I saw it. 12) They do not even have a separate induction area. Induction happens in meeting rooms. 13) No meal reimbursements, no leave travel allowance, no medical reimbursements, no dental or vision related assistance. 14) They don't even give stationary to new joinees. Bring a pen and notepad of your own when you are going for induction because they will make you write a lot but won't provide any notepad whatsoever. 15) People will elbow you and push you away if necessary while going in and coming out of lifts. Lifts are always full and over-crowded because they have fixed shifts for all the employees so again a QUEUE for going inside a lift ALWAYS. 16) This is a more than 100 years old company with 100 years old policies. No provision of logging in work hours anywhere on the intranet. You have to be in QUEUE at the start of as well as end of the shift to do a finger swipe in attendance system. 17) In this era where even a small company has thermocol/plastic glasses for tea/water, they have dirty, shabby, oily glasses. Taps are always so oily because people touch them with dirty hands after having their meals. 18) Facebook and Orkut are blocked. Browsing is pathetically slow. They claim to have employees working with them from 10-20 years. I simply do not understand how people can work for so long with a company which has such horrendous and downright outrageous policies.

Pros

1. Average Salary. 2. Work life balance.

Cons

1. Company is full of incompetent Engineering managers specially "NSCP platform". They don't even know how give feedback to the team. They are puppet of the platform lead and just serve his orders. 2. There is no growth in the company . There is no guideline for next level promotion. Every EM has their own definition. 3. They don't have any vision about product they are building.
