I lived at the property and could walk to work

Cons

Lowest hourly wages and about half the commission as other apartment companies. You will work holidays and every weekend Regional managers and area presidents have complete control and you are a servant at the property level (even property managers have NO authority)

Pros

I started working at MAA because I just moved to the area and needed a job fast, the interview process is a bit tedious but once your in you have a 20% discount on your rent, full benefits, the works. If you want to grow in the comapany there are plenty of opportunities.

Cons

The people are great but the pay is a bit on the low side for the work you put forth, with increasing rent and pay only going up a few cents its a bit painful at times
