Pros

Product knowledge is key so great training is given and there's lots to learn. Staff discounts are brilliant and staff are encouraged to try new products with freebies and incentives. Very active company with great ethics and morals so feel like you're doing your part for the world.

Cons

The sales approach isn't to everyone's taste. Staff are encouraged to be very hands on and overly enthusiastic which is sometimes awkward if that's not your natural personality.

Pros

Constant opportunities to progress in the store or at the head office. Great team and great recruitment, always striving for passionate and interesting employees. Great training at store level.

Cons

No real cons- maybe that you have to work in retail at Christmas, but even this is quite magical at Lush Slightly laid back/ disorganised feel to various things such as lack of support in the busiest time of year.

Pros

50% discount Other temps were friendly Lovely customers Free samples

Cons

Permanent staff were clicky and would not bother with other temp staff. They often deemed us 'not cool enough' or 'not vegan enough' to hang out with. They only became friendly with me once they realized we hung out in the same places. Got very little hours so low wages. For a company that claim to be Eco friendly, I didn't find their ethos in store in line with that. Even if a product was slightly damaged they wouldn't sell it, as they wanted the producer to get the full money rather than discounted money. Surely it would be better if they got some money rather than none? I also felt they corrupted the damage system, taking home 'damages' just because they wanted them instead of paying for them. I even witnessed supervisors taking samples on nights outs and returning them the next day. Felt I was a number rather than an individual. Hated coming into work.
