Pros

As a worldwide company it has great ethics and awareness. Products are fantastic as well. 50% off as well isn't a bad incentive.

Cons

A lot of problems. Workplace is very cliquey. A lot of poor organisation from head office. Constantly felt stressed to hit targets and pressure customers. Worst of all was workplace bullying. Not only was I bullied by my manager but I watched 6 of my fellow team members get bullied who all left because of it. Head office was alerted but no action was taken against the manager even though they were very aware of the happenings. Very disappointing that a company that says it's so ethical allows bullies to flourish into management jobs. Head office were ultimately useless and did not provide me or my team any support whatsoever.

Pros

Beautiful products and ethics that aligned with my values. Staff were mostly excited to be there, good vibes on the shop floor.

Cons

Many of Lush's retail spaces in Aus are very small with limited storage, making busy periods exhausting and stressful for customers as well as staff.

Pros

Friendly team and MOST of the management were great, amazing discounts and benefits, great rate of pay for what you do and a lovely atmosphere in store. They have a fantastic feedback system in place.

Cons

Some managment had a lot of favouritism or dislike for certain individuals. I was told on my 3rd shift (having worked less than 9 hours there at this point) that it was *really bad* that I didnt. know all the ingredients and properties in a certain product off by heart. This really brought me down, as I was trying very hard. There is a lot of strain on you, I have been told by colleagues that there is a lot of bitchiness behind the scenes. Everything you do, say, every move you make, is put down in a log and kept on record - which isnt a bad thingnuntil you're criticised for taking too many water/toilet breaks. It is certainly not an easy job, and while it isnt a hard job there is a lot of pressure.
