Pros

-Money (had to put 5 words but that’s the only pro I can think of)

Cons

-supervisors treat you as if your 12 and think of themselves as the queen -always breathing down your neck -use words like hun and lovelies to excuse themselves from being rude -clique environment -all have favourites and if your not one your screwed

Pros

Fantastic opportunity to grow within company. Great pay and discounts.

Cons

I HATE the rule of reapproaching customers over and over. As someone who shopped at Lush for a long time before working there, I can say for a fact that as a customer I hated it too. It comes across as desperately pushy and if anything I feel like I drove most of our customers away. When I wasn't feeling up to pushing I would watch for people who actually wanted the assistance or wait until someone asked me for help. In the mean time I would clean, restock or provide demonstrations of products. I always had more success with that but I would still be told off by managers, asm or supervisor. I left feeling as though I was terrible at my job and at retail in general

Pros

50% discount Other temps were friendly Lovely customers Free samples

Cons

Permanent staff were clicky and would not bother with other temp staff. They often deemed us 'not cool enough' or 'not vegan enough' to hang out with. They only became friendly with me once they realized we hung out in the same places. Got very little hours so low wages. For a company that claim to be Eco friendly, I didn't find their ethos in store in line with that. Even if a product was slightly damaged they wouldn't sell it, as they wanted the producer to get the full money rather than discounted money. Surely it would be better if they got some money rather than none? I also felt they corrupted the damage system, taking home 'damages' just because they wanted them instead of paying for them. I even witnessed supervisors taking samples on nights outs and returning them the next day. Felt I was a number rather than an individual. Hated coming into work.
