Pros

Opportunities to learn in different businesses location, location, location the offices are amazing food is excellent (maybe too good)

Cons

slim holidays they need a better games room be more flexible with visits to Skywalker on weekends Assist employees on buying game consoles so they can use the products; assistance with a PS3 so we could watch the movies on Blu Ray would be great, they are coming out on blu ray soon aren't they?

Pros

A personal pride that comes with knowing you work for Lucasfilm. The satisfaction of feeling like you can actually take part in rather senior level type of decisionmaking even if you are not at a senior level.

Cons

Management treats employees like children, giving them virtually no awareness of the budget process or overall vision of the company. Sometimes I thought that the most senior management genuinely didn't understand the business. Even the simplest decisions like where to stay on a business trip have to get "approved". Also, and the worst part -- senior management doesn't even know or care about Star Wars or Indiana Jones, sometimes it's like these things are actively DISLIKED.

Pros

It is really exciting to work at an entertainment company that is involved on a variety of different mediums. Right now it is really great to be at a private company due to the volatility in the market but overall the benefit is we get to have longer term plans that have a chance of being implemented (I think I am a little burnt by the quarterly targets at public companies dramatically changing the plans to make shareholders happy for the next 3 months).

Cons

Not enough time off for the level of work Being private the lack of any equity stake and not understanding the bonus program
