Pros

Good Food, Good learning, Decent bonus

Cons

Too much politics and favoritism in the merchandising team. the top leader has hired all her friends from target and jc penney. these so called leaders are rude, arrogant and treat the whole team badly. many people will leave due to rto where employees are threatened to resign if they cannot come back to office..these were the same employees who helped lowes make big profits during the covid era. promotions are only given to the friends of managers and its carrot on a stick for the rest. all in all..less pay, toxic leaders and no flexibilty..treat employees fairly or the best talent will leave lowes once market opens up....

Pros

Can’t say any because company is not thinking about employees

Cons

With RTO coming into play, all previous commitments of introducing the remote policies have gone for a toss !! They are not ready to give exceptions either, there are cases where one can’t relocate because of family issues.. but no one listens. Space in office is also a concern, we heard that there is not enough space to accommodate people, then why call everyone?

Pros

They paid higher than scale, and had good benefits. (They pay more because people quit a lot and they can't keep the good ones.)

Cons

The new leadership on the tech side has changed the culture from that of fail fast fix fast, to "who is responsible" and a blame game. Engineers are now afraid to admit fault and end up pointing the finger. Middle management care more about how they look to their bosses than unblockong those they are leading. Gone are the days of "servant leadership" at Lowe's, Now management holds a whip and expects results that are unreasonable and chastise individuals publicly. There is a clear cast system being incorporated into the Lowe's culture too. People focus on impressing their bosses and deflecting blame, not doing their jobs. Many highly skilled engineers and architects on the tech side are quitting. New hires are leaving after less than six months. Employees who have been with the company for years are leaving hundreds of thousands in RSU just to walk away. That is a sign of poor corporate and VP-level management.
