Pros

Uniform, gun, equipment, and state license all provided at no cost. Not many more pros than that. Benefits are subpar at best

Cons

Seattle branch is falling apart. We joined a union a few years ago hoping it would make working there better but it only made everything worse. The union is SPFPA and is horrible. Management will hire anyone that walks by the building. Good luck getting jump trained in a reasonable time frame. 12 hour days are the norm. Pay is comical. If you work hard all you get is taken advantage of. Extremely high turnover rate. Schedule is based on seniority so if your new you will be working weekends. Management sits in office playing on their phones and yells at you if you need help. Find work elsewhere

Pros

They offer a great deal of benefits including medical, vision, and dental (just to name a few). If you're into overtime they offer plenty. Gives you a chance to explore the beautiful city and all of its beautiful attractions and hidden gems.

Cons

If you like to live life a little bit then it isn't for you. Though the overtime is wonderful, be prepared to spend most of your days at Loomis (High Risk, Little Reward). The name of the game is, "no matter what you do, just finish--even if it is 11 pm on a Saturday. Scheduling is ALWAYS tentative so try to plan around your off days (1 weekday, 1 weekend). Chances of growing with the company are slim to none & for 13/hr risking your life for management (Who don't really care) isn't worth it. But what do I know lol.......(the turnover rate speaks for its self)
