Pros

The pay can be decent if you can manage the scheduling That's really about all I can think of at the moment

Cons

Everything else. They schedule people to come in at a certain time however it's obvious that people show up whenever they want with absolutely no punishment. Your shift does not begin when you show up like you would think, it begins when partner shows up. If you're a driver, you're stuck here until they show up. There have been times I have come in at 5:00 and haven't left the facility until 7:30 or sometimes 8:00. Why?? This is time that's being taken away from my family. The later I leave, the later I come back in the day. There's times I've spent 13-14 hours in a truck in addition to the time I've spent waiting for my messenger to show up. The morale here is terrible from what I've seen

Poorly Managed

Pros

You may meet some good people here, but they don't stay long.

Cons

Longer hours than DOT allows. You will have no outside life, family, or anything. You become fatigued and overworked quickly due to lack of good management and no leadership. They don't seem to care about DOT violations or their employees, just in getting stops done. Poor management and working conditions cause constant turnover of employees, which causes routes to be closed down and other routes are expected to pick up the slack. Employees are first to be blamed for missed stops and problems. Pay is below average and salary increases are only a few cents regardless of your performance.

Bad management

Pros

Full time work and a lot of overtime

Cons

* Poor management * Poor training method (they'll have someone train you for a day or two and then you're expected to magically memorize everything) * You'll reprimanded if you're not fast enough (even in the beginning when you're first trying to get used to it) * You'll get reprimanded when you ask for help on how to do something * They never give anyone praise for doing a good job A lot of people have quit within' the small time period I was there because of the poor management, the pressure and the deadlines that had to be met. Unfortunately, I ended up having to do the same because I could just not handle the stress nor getting scolded.
