      Pros

      Great on resume, depending on your department, great people, Beer and Jean Fridays are lots of fun, perks like going to games and half days, along with a generally relaxed culture (depending on your department).

      Cons

      Low pay, especially compared to other positions with same experience/education, little chance to negotiate, does not appear to be a lot of chances to move up in the company, "Old Boys Club", conservative views, people get fired often.

      Pros

      - Challenging work environment if you are up for the challenge - Ability to work with clients the way that makes sense for them - Producers let the teams run the deals so they can search for new opportunities

      Cons

      The only con here is the horizontal structure of the firm. This is only an issue if you are looking for a title to make you happy. Plenty of room to grow and create your own team. They will work you hard, so if you don't want to work hard it's not for you.
