Pros

great benefits, time off, 401K match, true desire to serve clients how they want to be serviced. Great training/learning resources.

Cons

No worklife balance, inconsistent experience completely dependent on which team you're on. Ineffective HR - witnessed Sr Leaders not held accountable to current workplace standards (re: EPLi)

Pros

Overall good people to work with, management cares (or pretends to care) about all employees, opportunities for growth available as long as you only plan to move vertically on the timeline that they expect.

Cons

Pay is not keeping up with inflation, and opportunities for learning are limited to internal trainings. Certification is not available until you are salaried, and there is no tuition assistance available. Basically you are only able to grow at Lockton's pre-ordained pace, even if you are highly motivated.

Pros

Many of the people are incredibly kind and helpful You'll learn to work very quickly and efficiently out of necessity.

Cons

Way too much work - They overload hourly employees with work, rarely approving overtime, and assigning them additional clients despite their protests. Salaried employees work 14+ hour days for weeks on end. Uneven expectations: Employees with the same titles have varied workloads and expectations. If you're good and fast, they will exploit you until you're completely drained. Little room for promotion: In the last few years they have hired a large number of higher-level employees and very few lower-level employees, leaving very little room for promotion from within. They do not handle issues between employees well. There are a number of older male producers that are renowned for sexist and condescending behavior, yet no one does anything. Mental health is ignored
