The culture within pendragon is terrible. The company is run by accountants not managers or leaders who think they can apply a spreadsheet to every scenario rather than take a Common sense look at the effect their decisions make on the people on their business. Extorting team members commitment to the company under the disguise of efficiency is not a recipe for happy employees. Regional management is full of ‘yes men’ , who won’t challenge any decision from either above or below them, or from their regional accountants, despite seeing the destruction some decisions cause. You regularly see pendragon post on linkedin etc about their new employees and how supportive they are. This is nonsense, the lack of posts celebrating someone’s retirement should tell you all you need to know about pendragon, no one stays with pendragon long enough!
