      Team members on a project level were good to work with

      After 15 years of working at Leidos, the closing of our location was announced with two weeks notice. Although official policy allows for severance packages, absolutely no severance pay or extended benefits have been offered. It is clear that at a corporate level, there is no value for the individual. I can understand the need for tightening up at a corporate level and closing some locations, but the clear disregard of professional norms and standards for ethical layoffs has left a bad taste in my mouth. I do not recommend this company as a place to build a career, maybe a short term stop to gain experience.

      Pros

      The salaries are OK, but many other benefits are not great.

      Cons

      Mostly feels like you get hired and then forgotten. No one wants to hear anything you have to say; they want you to spit out test results without any actual intellectual input and deliver them upon request. 6 months probation period in which you get NO vacation days - this was never explained to me and I accepted the offer without knowing this was part of their terms (missed Christmas with my family and had to forfeit a $400+ plane ticket). Very poor treatment and no consideration of employees.

      Pros

      Dedicated professionals that have a great deal of potential. Look for optimum solutions that meet the customer requirements.

      Cons

      Still think they are SAIC. New company without a new culture. Management is all but non existent. Too busy chasing the next pursuit and playing the next quarters P&L game.
