      Pros

      Good benefits, considers employee needs. Most people are fully integrated with the customer, so your like or dislike of the job is typically determined by how much you enjoy your project versus the company itself.

      Cons

      When lay-offs are required there is no consideration to the time a person has been with the company

      Pros

      Great hours, smart people, broad breadth of projects and technical problems to work on, projects typically last 6-18 months and then you get to work on something completely new and different, no set product cycle to follow

      Cons

      Salary is on the low end and no bonuses, requires a TS clearance to work on most projects, no clear path for upward mobility and career development

      Pros

      Leidos is a big company so the experience will vary, but what I have experienced (even when it was SAIC) is that Leidos (on the government side) could be like a collection of small companies. If you are able to foster a good relationship with your customer and gain respect and a good reputation with your customer and domain, you may have the opportunity to grow more business on your own with corporate backing.

      Cons

      Corporate perks such as the holiday/winter party, summer party, bonuses, .etc. have been cut due to cost cutting.
