Pros

Staff teams can be friendly, uniform budget for when you have to buy new uniform every 3 months

Cons

The job is minimum wage, and there is a lot of work expected for that wage. It isn’t a case of just keeping the place tidy and putting things for the till. You are a sales consultant who can spend hours helping a customer come to the right choices for their home purchases. You also need to help them with financial advice offering them interest free options and credit cards. Another downside to the bad pay is the company doesn’t like to work people up internally they like to out source so even if they say you are very good at tour job you won’t get a promotion. The customers also get a better discount than the staff do.
