Pros

Lovely staff and customers generally very nice. We have lots of experienced staff at our branch who only stay because we all enjoy each others company.

Cons

Appalling pay. Pressure to achieve unrealistic targets and sell credit cards to customers. Poor uniform allowance - hasn't increased in the 8 years I've worked there but price of clothes have gone up and quality gone down. Very difficult to book holidays as far too many 'red weeks'. Constant promotions we spend nearly all our time putting stickers on merchandise and then taking them off a few days later to replace them with different ones. All this results in low staff morale. Loyal staff not appreciated.
