Pros

time and a half Sundays, good staff discounts, staff treated well, continual training, staff members given feedback on performance regularly

Cons

sometimes too target orientated, hours can be somewhat unsociable, not much room for promotion and progression, occasional lack of communication between branches and management, ask for flexibility from employees but employees often not offered the same flexibility in return

Pros

Lovely people, some lovely regular customers and some great product.

Cons

Staff are treated appallingly. The salary is not comparable to the level of work expected of the team members - at all levels. Every year no salary increase is given, but yet we make record profits every year. Management of the company have no clue what goes on in store and are so out of touch. The product is not worth the price - hence the constant promotions. In store we are literally there to ticket things and serve. We never have time to do things properly as always rushed off our feet!

Pros

Two nice girls I worked with

Cons

Worst company to work for . After complaining thousands of times for bullying and being understaffed still management refused to do anything. Management very unprofessional would talk about sex life and have very bad attitude towards staff. Targets are unreachable and pay is shocking for hours and effort put in. Complaints never sorted and on a number of occasions managers would be rude to customers and complain to them if using the click and collect service . Would advice anyone not to apply to work for Laura Ashley as after a couple of week you will want to leave.
