Pros

I worked for LVMH fragrances and I love my team we all collaborated to make our goals. We had a common goal and it was clear what was expected of us. I really appreciated our team leader and our territory manager who always had resources for us to complete the very demanding numbers. The people I worked with are great. The product is top notch which makes selling it a breeze. Pay was fair for all the work you put in.

Cons

Most of the time it is long hours and short breaks. You have to like sales if not you'll have a hard time loving it.

Pros

As an employee of a retail company, you can use employee gratis or discounts to purchase products from your brand, as well as LVMH's other brands. You may receive goodie bags throughout the year filled with expensive products or samples. If you work in a retail storefront, you'll get to try consumable products (perfumes, makeup, lotions, liquor, etc.) during product launches. If your division is doing well financially, you can enjoy lots of free coffee and the occasional catered lunch.

Cons

LVMH is old as dirt, as you can tell by its dated legacy systems and its glacial pace of adapting to change. If you are not a middle-aged woman or French, expect to be a minority wherever you work in this company. Compensation is average, vacation allowance is the lowest I've had at any job, and the healthcare options are limited and slightly overpriced IMO. LVMH certainly looks like a good employment experience on a resume, but the high employee turnover I've witnessed seems to indicate otherwise.

Pros

Working at LVMH you could always count on the perks, discounts and sample sales. This is the one and only reason you would want to work there. Brand recognition.

Cons

Management is something to be admired, if you like to be pinned one against another, than this is the place for you. There is definitely no "team spirit" at LVMH. It is too bad the luxury and prestige is not synonymous with class.
