Disappointed that company did not meet my expectation

Pros

My colleagues, minus my direct line manager.

Cons

I feel that there is poor communication at all levels. Staff do not feel valued and there were high levels of uncertainty. Worst of all was my line manager, there was a lack of support and there was a negative relationship with them and the rest of the team.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience while working at LRG but would like to assure you that open communication channels are very important to us and something that we are actively working on at the moment through the introduction of a Group Intranet page. A supportive environment is very important to us, we therefore encourage all staff to contact senior management or the HR Department if they feel unable to approach their direct line manager. We would like to wish you all the best for the future. Louis - Human Resources Department

Pros

- Good incentives for top performers - Job security is good for front end staff - Career progression is quick if you put in the hard work and perform well/reach targets - Confident we are selling a good product by using Romans/Great brand

Cons

- Long working hours - Targets are unfairly judged against different sized offices - Can sometimes lack further opportunities due to no openings elsewhere - Competitors will often offer more money for the same roles

Thank you for your review. We recognise the importance of offering rewards and incentives which shows our appreciation to our valuable employees, and can assure you that we are constantly looking for new ways to benefit you. We are keen to develop our employees and strongly encourage promotion from within, please do keep an eye on the vacancy listing emails alerts from the Recruitment Team and on the LRG website for our latest vacancies should any be of interest. Long working hours can unfortunately be the nature of this industry however we are committed to ensuring employees have a good work life balance, therefore we will take your comments on board regarding your suggestion of working shorter days on a rota basis. We thank you for all your hard work and dedication to The Leaders Romans Group to date. - Emily, Human Resources Department
