Pros

The only pro after working for this pathetic brand is products, SOME of the people and knowing that once you've worked here it can only go up.

Cons

They are all the same. Probably haven't changed since I left. Europeans are generally cheap. I'm glad to be employed by a company that makes money and has deep pockets. Some Employees have this conception that you have to suffer needlessly to be in high end. What they fail to realize is this brand is not even that. Not by a long shot.

Pros

All natural products Farm to jar concept for all products Great gratis and discounts on products

Cons

This company does not care about the positive impacts you as an individual will have on the company!! They will tell you all the negative things about you first, and rarely mention the positive impacts. The head office is not helpful at all and will send you the wrong information for forms/documents. This is a very greedy company! They are very bad at communication, however the sales and management simply just care about their bonus and nothing else! Be prepared to be working long weeks and there is absolutely no work/life balance as they say. This company is not doing well in Canada mainly because of the economy, however they do not listen to that factor. All they will do is push you to your limit and this ends up in many resignation letters from staff members. Please find something better and do not apply for any position within this company. It treats its co workers like garbage and the head office just sit in their comfortable offices and send harmful and threatening emails, calls, etc to boutique management. They expect so much from workers even when the economy is not that great here in Canada.

Pros

40% discount is pretty decent and when something launches you get the new item as gratis

Cons

I don't even know where to begin... This company is a nightmare! They shouldn't call themselves L'Occitane; they should just call themselves L'Divine... SMH. Customers beware upon entering, everyone in the store is going to con you into buying a Divine Cream whether you need it or not. Thinking about a job with this company? Run! Run as fast as you can! Forget the 50 million other products in the store, they only make you sell Divine. You're better off having a Divine kiosk cart in a mall and not worry about the hundreds of other products. SMH There you have it... If you don't sell your Divine goal? Expect to be berated! Expect to be MICROMANAGED & BERATED every single hour and every single day! Expect your self esteem to DIMINISH & your life to be 8 hour shifts to be by yourself! Think I'm complaining? Nope! This is the reality. They expect Part timers to be by yourself all day and expect them to act like the store manager! I'm surprised NO ONE HASN'T SUED THIS COMPANY YET FOR VIOLATING LABOR LAWS! I can't tell you how many times I've gone without breaks or lunches! But wait! They expect you to make these goals, but contradict themselves ALL THE TIME! They say one thing on one side there mouth and say another on the other! Haven't made a KPI , expect to be threatened to be written up on a daily basis! Expect to be BERATED by your DM! Want to work for luxury company? This isn't luxury. Expect to wear a Lotion Key around your neck! What luxury company does this?!?! The things they do isn't luxury its desperation! A cookie and a balloon isn't going to help! How bout encouragement?! How bout add payroll hours?! I've said my peace... I'm moving on. I pray to God I get this new job!
