They have good benefits and compensation. Many holidays. When you added all up almost like a month off. People working at the main office are good and professional, but we work like a dog most of the time.
Cons
The training program for new staff needs more work. IT doesn't fit the need at all. The training program does not train people how to deal with average student. They only talk about excellent students. Whoever came up with this idea is quite stupid. They asked the staff to study student's background, such as their parents work. This is not practical. Simply because parents cannot be changed. Plus the majority is the mediocre students, but they have no idea how to help them. So they don't talk about it.
It's "off-the-books", you get the satisfaction of helping children, and it was a short commute for me.
Cons
It was really boring and repetitive. There was a lack of structure, no benefits, and low pay. The students sometimes do not respect you as well. Also, there are a lot of rules and restrictions for employees, which comes from bad management skills.
