Repetitive, but Decent for a High School/College Student

Pros

Working as a tutor for Kumon would be very rewarding at times, yet frustrating at others. When you successfully instruct a child, and the child actually understands his/her work, you feel very satisfied.

Cons

Work was, however, very repetitive and can almost get to the point of teaching the same thing to the same kid for months at a time.

Pros

Laid back, easy, working with smart kids, mostly self-sufficient. You're mostly grading papers which is really easy. I heard there's centers that went digital and just use computers.

Cons

Very few hours, seems like a money grab, dealing with parents. You aren't going to get many hours. The classes meet like twice a week for a few hours. Nice if you're looking for a really part-time job, but not so much if you need more money.
